S-FLEX – TRANSPORT POLICY

 

Your final price prior to check out includes the relevant delivery charge, which is shown as a separate figure and assumes delivery to mainland UK. Charges directly reflect the size and weight of your order

Please note that delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands may incur additional shipping charges.

Not all products will incur an additional delivery charge to the Scottish Highlands and Islands – it is dependent on the composition of your order and the couriers costs who provides shipping on our behalf. If your delivery address is in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, a member of our team will contact you prior to processing your order should an additional delivery charge apply. Alternatively, please contact us for further information.

While we make every effort to ensure orders are delivered by the date required, we cannot always guarantee delivery when we are dependent on external delivery schedules.

Any variation to web delivery date given will be advised to you by email or telephone. If we are unable to make a delivery because access is not possible, we reserve the right to make a failed delivery charge.

Our delivery charges are based on the customer being present to accept the goods. This includes a willingness to manually offload heavier goods or having mechanical offloading facilities available. We can look to organise tail-lift facilities for your order but this will incur additional cost.

Our deliveries are based on a five-day working week. Alongside this orders placed after midday on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday will only be processed on a Monday.

Your order will be delivered using any combination of our own transport, national carriers and the national pallet distribution network.

 

Restricted Access

If you want delivery to anywhere other than mainland UK with restricted access, please contact us or send an email to sales@sflex.co.uk before you attempt to place your order. Shipping from the UK mainland would depend on the type of product ordered and the geographic location. This type of order is likely to incur an additional carriage charge.

We reserve the right to refuse to make a delivery if you have not informed us prior to delivery of any access restrictions. Typical examples would be;

  • Double Yellow Lines
  • Narrow Lanes
  • Low Bridges
  • Gated Community
  • Steep Hills

Please send an email to sales@sflex.co.uk to discuss delivery if you believe your project has restricted access. We will work with you to design a solution where possible.

 

Multiple Deliveries

Your order may come to you in more than one part to optimise delivery times and get stock items to you without delay. Should this be the case we will notify you each time a part of your order has been dispatched so that you can keep track of your items.

You will be notified either by telephone or email should any items be out of stock that impact on your suggested delivery date. which will affect delivery timescales.

 

Special Instructions

Please use the ‘Special Instructions” box to inform us of anything you require or anything we need to know that might affect delivery.

While we will endeavour to deliver to your specific location it is possible that some larger orders will only be delivered to the kerbside. If you are ordering larger items and need additional information regarding your delivery please contact us.

 

Accepting Your Delivery

Please check your goods thoroughly before signing for them.

If any part of your delivery is damaged or faulty please contact us by telephone on 01704 335648 or email sales@sflex.co.uk.

Do not accept damaged products. Orders signed for “unchecked” will be deemed to have been received in good condition. As soon as the order has been delivered to your requested delivery address, the risk of any damage or loss passes to you.
